Those who wonder whether E-P1 will be discontinued? The answer is no, Olympus will sell along with E-P1 especially to the fans who like the silver machine which E-P2 didn’t have.

What’s new in E-P2?

* High-Resolution Electronic Viewfinder (EVF) with olympus claimed that they have the best EVF in the market, powered by 1.44 Mil dot EVF Live Viewfinder with 100% field of view.

*Two new Art filter, what’s interesting is the “tilt-shift” effect which named Diorama and also cross process that you can play with along existing art filter.

*However, the accessory port allows lensmen to fit the new SEMA-1 microphone set onto the digicam, unlike its older sibling. The SEMA-1 has a 3.5mm stereo jack so users can employ their own external microphones for better audio quality. On its own, the E-P2 is able to record stereo sound, though often it captures ambient noise as well.
